When I moved to Italy, I imagined a life full of adventure and opportunity. But life doesn’t always go as planned. Battling an autoimmune disease, navigating the complexities of expat life, and leaving a broken marriage tested me in ways I never imagined. There were moments when I felt powerless and uncertain about the future.

These challenges led me to discover the power of reinvention and independence. It was during this transformation that I thought of the term "Expatpreneur." It perfectly encapsulates the entrepreneurial journey of building a business while living abroad—embracing resilience, creativity, and bold decision-making. For me, this journey became about reclaiming control over my life and turning pain into purpose.

Though I bring 20 years of experience to my work, building my own business over the past four years has been transformative. Taking back control of my life has given me a sense of empowerment I didn’t know I had. My business is still a work in progress, but it’s a crucial step toward achieving financial stability and creating something meaningful for myself and my children.
